Conferences

The conference is the annual forum where the discussions held during a year in the Expert Groups (EG) and through the web site are presented and widely discussed to test the degree of consensus. The conference is attended by a maximum of 60 persons (the Final conference is planned to host up to 100 persons). The attendance will include the Partners, the Authors, the Experts and other specialists as appropriate to the topics discussed. Any efforts will be made by the Consortium to have an attendance representative of the transport sector at various level: geographical (Member States, regions, etc.), modal, working areas (policy makers, researchers, operators, private sector, users, etc.).

The Action foresees three annual conferences, the last being the Final Conference where the results of the entire project will be presented. The two conferences preceding the final one will provide room for discussion of the intermediate outcomes of the EGs, and will focus the first on the issue of Pricing and Financing, and the second on Transit and Peripheral countries.
